8am
After a broken night's sleep of anxiety dreams - including, my wedding bouquet falling apart, the house being haunted and falling over at the wedding- I woke up at 6am. Reaching over to Wayne, I realise he's not there ( how early did he get up then?) next I reach for my smartphone for a quick facebook browse. Wayne has already updated his status. He was up at 5.30am as is 'excited to be marrying his best friend Heather Juliette Bryson' aaawww. He comes upstairs for a cuddle, and tells me how he woke up in a panic with his head completely stuck inside his pillowcase .... hahaha! Next, the kids pile in...closely followed by the dogs and cats. I start to relax. Things wont change just because we're married. So let's enjoy this day of celebration !
It's grey outside, and rain is forecast- but It won't spoil our big day.
After a croisant ( brought in my my 5 year old, singing 'Happy Wedding Day to you') and a strong coffee, it's time to get up and make breakfasts. Next we'll tie the wedding ribbons on the car, and I'll head down to Cedar Lodge for my hair, eyelashes and pedicure. Wayne will bath the boys, and himself - then get into their suits.
Everything's going ok so far....but I have an ominous rumble in my tummy. Next stop..the loo !
Here are some pics of when me and Wayne got together :
